"When we first met Gary, My partner and I were a little hesitant being our first time looking for an actual house. Gary was inviting and joked around. When he did go on vacation he always kept in touch and let us know when he would be back. We looked at a house on our own one day when he was on vacation, and talked to another realtor who was there. He gave me his card, but I only wanted to work with Gary. He didn't pressure us into any house, and brought up ideas of what I could give up to what I could have, like, is having a double driveway more important than a garage? We looked at a lot of houses, some misleading by the photos and even Gary one time knew this wouldn't be a fit for us. He knew what we wanted, what we could sacrifice and what we really were adamant on having. Even with my work schedule he met us for a half hour, kept in contact through email or texting, which is a big plus, found the house we wanted and he gave his honest opinion. We put an offer on it the same day and it had only been on the market for 2 days. He really knew what we were looking for by the week in with working with his. Gary came to our inspection, because we where first time home buyer and because he wanted to learn, and also sat with us at closing. Even before we bought the house, he let my mom see it because she came up before she was getting surgery to remove her cancer. It was important to me, and Gary came through. At closing, it was bittersweet, because he shook our hands and said congratulations, but it was a goodbye. Gary was inviting,honest, listened, and a great communicator. I lost my dad 3 years ago and it was sort of comforting because he reminded me so much of my dad. Towards the end he felt more like a friend than our realtor. Gary is a great asset to century 21 and I wish him luck and hope more people will work with him like we did. He was awesome."
