Kermit has lived in SW Virginia most all his life. He has lived in several parts of Virginia but fell in love with Smith Mountain Lake in 1980. While work took him away from the lake his heart was still captivated by its beauty and he continued to vacation here. At his first opportunity he moved to the Lake for many years then he married a great woman and makes Roanoke home . Kermit retired from the Virginia State Police with over fifteen years of experience. The last part of his career was spent in the lake area. Kermit is active in many different areas of real estate. Kermit currently owns and manages his own rental property an active rehabber (flipper) of distressed properties, and a bee keeper.
