"Robert is a friend through our former church. We had not remembered he is a realtor, until a friend gave us the reminder. We were thrilled to call upon Robert as we know him to be a person of high character and integrity and also a truly nice guy! We were not disappointed in any of the qualifications and expertise he brought to our table. He's been wonderful every step of the way.
We had 4 bids and selected one to contract within 4 days of listing and were anticipating closing at the 45 day mark but for a holdup in paperwork from the buyer's end that delayed us for 2 1/2 additional weeks. Robert kept us apprised through every step and progress made. I think he went above and beyond in tracking progress to help us stay reassured throughout the process.
As for the way Robert handled the showing and advertising, it was all done professionally (beautiful photography) and quickly/timely and he gave us the best bits of advice. He was spot on in advising a selling price. Through every step, from our first phone conversation to sitting at the table on the closing day, we felt we had a friend and true professional by our side."

"We've lived in Louisville for decades, and know at least a half dozen real estate people we could have called for this project. We have known Robert for years before he joined Semonin, and trust his character. We also wanted to help a younger person instead of an agent well into their later years (as many of our peers are).
Our property was supposed to be investment property but had turned into a time and money sump. We were eager to move on. It turns out that its zoning was not correct -- which we certainly did not know when we bought it and learned only after our first contract fell through. Robert was able to maintain momentum even during the COVID crisis and find another buyer at a higher price (the asking price). Altogether positive during a weird time, when the economy was dissolving slowly around us."

"Robert Burns was exceptional in all areas from the beginning process of looking with him. My wife and I had been looking for over 2 1/2 years with no luck then we went to an open house that Robert Burns was holding and decided to work with him within 2 months we had a house. That we love. Robert listened to our needs and wants and would call when homes came available that he fit our needs but never tried to talk us into something we didn't want . We truly believe he wanted us to find a home we wanted and needed and he had all the time to help us find it. Any time we would call him he would answer his phone or reach back out within minutes. In todays market that is extremely important. We seen the home we bought go on the market on the 1 p.m.on a Sunday he had us in the house within 2 hrs of that. Then met us back over there next morning to give it 1 more look before writing the contract. We really wanted the house and knew others were looking at it to. He came up with different strategies on how we could write the contract and hopefully get it. Through out inspections and loan process he always kept in contact with us so we didnt have to sit and wonder. This was our 4th home buying experience and this was by far the best experience. We will Always use Robert Burns in the future and will always refer him to friends and family. He is very knowledgeable with real estate and it is obvious he loves the real estate business. Hes not just looking for a quick sale."

Regular, clear communication with Robert even when he was waiting to hear, he let us know he was still waiting.
