"Roberta Cornelson came highly recommended and didnt disappointed. She listened to our needs and wants while thinking about things like resale that we wouldn't have before. She was patient with is and answered all the questions knowledgeably. This was our first homebuying experience and because of Roberta it was a breeze. There are no questions about who we will return to when it comes time to move. We have already been recommending her to anyone who will be house hunting soon. Roberta was a true pleasure to work with."

Recommendation
"The home buying process it's quite the endeavor to undertake. For someone who has never bought a home, I consider it to be a daunting experience and most of the time we would rather just rent, rather than face it. I had a lot of friends in the area when I moved up here that informed me that their rent was going up by $200-$300 every time they would renew their lease. I wasn't exactly excited about taking part in such forms of extortion. Individuals who rent their property in the Seattle area know that buying a home can be a crippling experience. With that knowledge they charge people who rent from them pretty much whatever they want, and they're able to get away with it. It's simple supply and demand.
Going into the home buying process I was quite eerie about the steps that needed to be taken. I have always had a good experience going through my union at work for things, so the recommendation that I go through Roberta to buy a home wasn't a difficult decision to make… It was just a matter of whether or not I wanted to put up with the whole process or not.
I'm glad that I did.
For me, and being a veteran, I preferred someone was is familiar with utilizing the VA loan. Roberto was extremely knowledgeable in this. She was quite familiar with what I needed to do long before I needed to do it. As a first-time homebuyer it's a little bit nerve-racking to take on such a large debt. The only thing I would have done differently was not in her control. I preferred a residential property so that I could accrue more equity, but the reality is that Seattle is just too expensive. As a result, I settled for a condo, but I still was able to get everything that I wanted in a home. Thanks for the time and patience of Roberta, I am now a proud homeowner. There isn't any one thing that I can say she did better than the others; she executed everything with precision and efficiency.
I can shamelessly admit that I would have rented a place had it not been for her. If it were any other realtor, I don't believe I would've gotten the confidence that Roberta provided me. She is really good about not just throwing a bunch of information at you. She waits until you have questions, and then answers all of those questions. I will admit, it's nice to have someone do everything for you, but when it comes to buying a home it is important that someone asks those questions for themselves. It is the responsibility, but it was the responsibility that I gladly took on.
My favorite part of that my mortgage is going to suddenly rise by $200-$300, like rent would. I have a place of my own where I get to pick the paint, appliances, furniture, the floors, the windows, the doors… I can rest a little bit easier knowing that my payments for housing will only get cheaper over time. This isn't typically the most admired fact about buying a home, but in the Seattle area it is a crucial point to think about.
I will be selling my condo through Roberta if/when that time comes..."
