My property had been a rental for a number of years. There were constant issues with tenants and the last group renting the home were disruptive to a large part of the neighborhood. I was referred to Alan by one of the neighbors who had worked with Alan on the purchase of their home. She gave Alan my phone number and without delay Alan texted me offering to help in any way he could and gave me his phone number to call him if I wanted to speak with him. Alan explained that he had been in property Management previously and offered suggestions on what I might do about my tenant situation. He also referred me to some real estate law firms that he thought would be helpful. I did retain one of the lawyers and they were able to resolve the tenant issues and were kind and professional in the process. My thought was that I would hire a new property management team and re-rent the house. Alan set an appointment for me with the broker who manages the rentals with the Real Estate Group. He also met me for the appointment so he could introduce me and help with asking questions pertinent to my situation. At that time I was planning on switching to the new group and re-renting the home. Once I had the opportunity to walk through the house and see what work needed to be done, I simply could not go on renting and decided to sell. The only person I would consider listing with was Alan Blomdahl. This gentleman had offered his assistance and time not only over the phone and via text but taking time out of his workday to meet me for the appointment with the Rental Manager. At that time he had no expectation of receiving a commission for helping me. He was just being a good guy. Listing my home with anyone else would have been silly. Alan took the time to go through the house with me and offer suggestions on what could be done to help it sell faster. He called and stopped by to check on my progress and to just make sure I was doing alright. He was patient with all of my questions and took the time to explain and sometimes re-explain all the steps of the process. He worked with other agents in setting up showings and ended up finding the best set of buyers I could have hoped for. Alan truly cares about his clients and it shows in the time and effort he puts into the work he does. I was truly blessed to have him working on the sale of my home. Saying thank you just isn't enough.
