After seeing Carissa make a quick sale of our next-door neighbors' house, my wife invited her to come talk to us about downsizing from our empty-nest home. But she went the extra mile in creating the ad and marketing the property, and conducting the open houses, and it ended up selling for $16,000 over asking price. Again, I could not have been happier with the results. Plus, Carissa is a lovely person and so easy to work with. She is friendly and easy-going. Any question I had, and I had a lot since it was my first experience selling a property, she immediately got back to me with an answer. All communications in terms of documents, etc. were timely with very clear instructions. Even though she is very busy with multiple clients, she always took the time to talk or listen. Carissa also represented me as I purchased my new home. Although I had already found the houses I wanted to view, she arranged for all the showings, and once I chose one we were informed that there was already an offer. Carissa immediately called the seller agent and asked him to go slowly, and that we would be able to beat any offer they already had. In doing so, Carissa was able to negotiate me getting the house, and I only had to pay slightly over the asking price. As I noted previously, the overall experience of working with Carissa was excellent. From the first step when Carissa came over to view the property (on a Sunday afternoon!), to the recommendations she made to help it show most effectively, to the open houses, to the clear recommendations on which offers to consider, to the many communications regarding the mortgage and other processes to finalize the sale, plus negotiating with my mortgage company and the sellers of my new home so I was able to do the sale closing in the morning and the purchase closing in the afternoon, it went as smoothly and as stress free as can be expected.
