My husband and I were looking for a broker to sell a very specific property that my broker had. Carlin did an amazing job at that and understood what we would be looking for in a new property. He helped us focus our search efforts and find a suitable property, despite a few setbacks we had finding the best location/value/type of listing in Calgary. Carlin was very professional. He knew which houses we would like and which ones we would not. I think it was a very good experience at the beginning to see the relationship between what we saw online, what Carlin knew would be good/bad, and some of Carlin's picks. This was a great learning experience. When it came time to making the offer and proceeding with the negotiations, he was very punctual and very easy to work with. He gave very good advice, and the offers typically went the way he had predicted before we started the process. I would also say that Carlin's network in Calgary is very extensive - every agent we met at open houses knew Carlin. I found this reassuring, as Carlin definitely had the pulse of the real estate network in his hand at all times.

We are so grateful that we found Carlin Koster in the first place. He understood our requirements pretty well and not wasting time he showed us houses of our interests (that's why we bought the house in less than 15 showings). I have already recommended Carlin to my friends and will do the same in the future. He was/is up to date in providing us timely communications about each and every step at the right moment so that we don't have any stress. He even tagged us along during the visits as we don't have a Car, even offered to pick us from our home and dropped us to Ikea when we wanted to go there after the visit. Carlin was approachable! Since we are first-time home buyers, we had many questions to ask and gain knowledge on. We could not think of going to anyone else during the entire process of our house purchasing. He has knowledge of the area, he has knowledge of the layout of the house, he kept on giving us great advice about each and another house we saw - how to renovate the basement, what are pros what are cons about the house, what should be the price of the house as per the layout and condition of the house etc. In short, he was very very detailed. He even took the deposit money from us and deposited it into the seller's trust on our behalf even when he had other things in his hands-on priority on that day. He was there with us on the Inspection day guiding us through and everything. He negotiated the house for us and we saved $10,000 on the house that we are purchasing now.
