Carlin LISTENED to what we wanted. He worked with us for almost a year and a half. At the beginning of that process, he asked us to outline exactly what we were looking for in our new property. We made the "wish list" and ranked the items according to what we absolutely wanted and what items would be nice to have, but that we could happily live without. At one point, we compiled a list of properties for that were for sale and asked Carlin if we could go view them. He said he would book the viewings, but wanted to chat with us before doing that. We had a phone conversation and went through each property we had chosen. He asked us if our "wish list" had changed. When we said, "no", he went through each of the 10 properties with us and pointed out things that we said we absolutely did NOT want in our new property. In the end, he had more patience than we did and it paid off because we got a property that exceeded all of our expectations.
