Jim and Betty were referred to us by my friend, and our current realtor, Keri Couvillion, in the Phoenix Metro area. We flew to AK from AZ to look at houses. When we met Jim, we were not only very impressed with his knowledge of the local area but his vast knowledge overall of real estate, laws, etc. We knew right then he was the one we wanted to have as our realtor. We had a very complicated purchase because we were moving from AZ. Jim helped us navigate getting through Canada with current info during the Covid 19 pandemic. We needed a pre occupancy agreement as well. Jim made this process as easy as he possibly could for us. We literally drove into town from AZ and went straight to our new house. He was fantastic to work with! Jim spent approx 8 hours driving us around, showing us many, many homes and gave us much needed local expertise on restaurants, shopping, geographical features, etc. We weren't quite ready to buy yet, but he kept in contact with us frequently by phone as well as new daily listings and updates on the market until our home was sold in AZ. The property manager of our rental was also a realtor that could find us a home to purchase after our lease was to be expired. We did not search for other realtors. They took into consideration of what we wanted and amenities to have in a house. They showed us several that were alright and within a personal price point. He was very knowledgeable and knew what to do when the house was a "for sale by owner" sale. He kept us up to date on things we had to sign for our contract.
