Flew in from Ottawa in March when houses for sale. Got here, all that I liked were under contract. Joe said I have to be here when they come on the market. Came again in May, same scenario. Again, Joe said I have to be here to get offers in as soon as a house goes on the market. I packed up my Ottawa belongings, drove down by U-HAUL, put everything in storage on Aug 12. August 13, met up with Joe and we went to see a house that I really liked that wasn't yet under contract. We put in a bid, did a bit of negotiating and my conditional offer (sell home in Ottawa) was accepted. Closing was scheduled for Oct. 15. However, due to seller's mixup, closing didn't occur until Oct. 17. Very disappointing, but that is not a reflection on Joe. Joe did a phenomenal job working as my realtor and I can't thank him enough for an excellent job well done!
