Kelly was used as a real estate broker by us before and was our only choice when we decided to sell this Holliston property. Because of the Covid 19 situation, she went absolutely above and beyond regarding this particular sale! For many years we were snowbirds, spending 5 months of the year in Florida and the remainder of the year at our house in Massachusetts. During this last trip to Florida we found a house and decided to make Florida our primary residence. We decided to sell our house in Massachusetts but, unfortunately the COVID pandemic prevented us from returning to personally do all that was needed to sell the house. We needed someone to prepare the house for sale, price it for a sale, advertise it and then complete the sale all with me ever being there. Everything had to be done remotely. I did an internet search looking for someone that would take on the responsibility to take on all aspects of selling our house. Based on recommendations I found on the internet, I selected Kelly McGovern as my agent. From my 1st contact with Kelly I was impressed with her calm, friendly, helpful attitude. I had checked with Zillow & Realtor.com to get and idea of what my house was worth. Kelly felt that those estimates were too low and suggested a much higher price. I decided to go with her expertise. The first thing that needed to be done was the preparation of the house. Kelly identified the things that needed to be done. She brought in someone to power wash, repair and paint where needed. She managed my gardeners to present the property in the best possible light. She met with a moving company to arrange the shipment of the things we wanted in Florida. Kelly then took complete responsibility for selling some items, giving away others and then, finally, working with a trash removal company to empty the house of everything else. She worked with a Septic company to get the required Title 5 certificate. When the house was completely ready, Kelly arranged a 2 hour open house and got 2 offers, both over the asking price. We selected a buyer and then Kelly took responsibility for handling the buyers inspection, the appraisal and all of the detailed work that is required during a house sale. When the buyer wanted money to cover some of the things found during the inspection, Kelly negotiated hard and reduced the amount they wanted by almost 50%. Dealing with Kelly, I never felt any pressure, was always informed about what was going on and felt completely assured that I was in good, competent hands. This was the best real estate sales experience I have ever had. Honestly, I could not have done it without her.

Kelly was amazing at pointing out things to consider with the house as far as inspection and/or negotiating. She was phenomenal with negotiating price and terms/conditions. Kelly pretty much handled all the back and forth with each little concern and even made us aware of potential concerns because we were first time home buyers. She was on top of everything, the paper work, dates, etc. Kelly was a pleasure to work with and really made this process very easy and enjoyable. As first time home buyers we were very nervous but Kelly walked us through each step in a positive manner with lots of knowledge and answered all of our terrible questions kindly. 5 stars!!!

Always had our best interest in mind She was willing to meet us at the property at anytime no matter how far of a commute it was for her Kelly is a wonderful and caring she operates with a kind heart.
