Our good friend recommended Kobi to us and we were in the best hands with him! He took the time to look through listings personally and would email us paragraphs detailing why he thought we might want to consider certain ones based on our needs. He was great with attention to detail, especially when looking at properties and pointing out certain things they did or did not included. He has a contact for everything (lawyer, inspection, air duct cleaning, you name it), he clearly knows the market in Chicago, and was so great at educating us. We were a challenging case because we found out last minute that our lease to rent was not going to be renewed so we had 2 months to find and close on a "dream home." Kobi was so cool, calm and collected about the fact that it was possible to find a dream place in that time frame and worst case he would have helped us rent. Kobi took us to see multiple properties, was amazing with phone and email communication, and always gave us great advice. At one point, I got so tired of looking at properties and not finding "the one" and almost canceled an appointment for a place that seemed to be out of budget. Kobi said something like, "we already have it scheduled, it can't hurt to go tomorrow" and it was down the street from us... WE FELL IN LOVE. This is the place we ultimately purchased and Kobi helped us every step of the way to negotiate it to the point that we could actually afford it. One big hurdle we experienced was that our mortgage company told us two days prior to closing that they could no longer lend us the money, due to an issue completely out of our control (had to do with the condo association). That night Kobi immediately got another broker on board and helped us be able to close just about two weeks later. This guy is seriously excellent and I would recommend him to everyone I know. He clearly does this job for passion, not for money, but he deserves and is worth every penny he earns. He was not only a realtor to us but is now a friend. Anyone that stumbles across this realtor should consider themselves lucky.
