I had an excellent experience working with Lisa Mills on a house sale in Laguna Woods. I inherited the house from my mom, and I'd never lived in the community, so I was unfamiliar with all its byzantine rules and regulations. I needed a knowledgeable, experienced real estate agent who could help me sell the house from 1,000 miles away, and one of my mom's neighbors highly recommended Lisa. I interviewed a lot of other agents, but Lisa's professionalism shone through from our first phone conversation. Lisa Mills was everything I wanted in an agent: smart, articulate, very aware of the market and the community. She was terrific as a real estate agent--great at marketing the house, handling prospective buyers, and doing negotiations--but she also was a huge help on other things, like arranging an estate sale, rental of a dumpster, and all those mysterious interactions with Laguna Woods. When I first interviewed Lisa and expressed my concerns about selling a house from so far away, she reassured me she would be able to handle everything on my behalf so I wouldn't have to worry--and she was true to her word. I felt well represented every step of the way. Lisa always kept me apprised of everything going on with the house; her responses to my calls, emails, or texts were always prompt, clear, and well-considered. And I enjoyed our conversations so much that I'm sorry the sale is over! I'd never bought or sold a house before, so this could have been an intimidating experience. Thanks to Lisa and her friendly, efficient demeanor, it was a pleasure. If I had another house in Laguna Woods, I would absolutely have Lisa sell it, and I strongly recommend her to anyone else.

Lisa was an amazing realtor. This is the fourth house she sold for us. With being on market for six months with another realtor I really lost hope. Lisa got the listing and had the house sold within a week. She wrapped up everything from permits to selling furniture and changing locks. She did everything above and beyond since we live out of state now. I so appreciate everything she did to make this translation as seamless as possible.

I count on her I appreciate to her.

For years we had seen Lisa Mills' real estate signs and presence in our community; so we were confident that she was knowledgeable when it came to buying and selling property in Laguna Woods. When we decided we wanted to purchase another home, we contacted Lisa. The purchase of our new home was smooth and stress free. Soon after that, we listed our previous home in Laguna Woods with Lisa. She provided helpful tips and guidance to get our house looking its best in preparation to put it on the market. Lisa provided open houses, flyers and advertising, and kept us up to date on showings; and other realtors' and prospective buyers' feedback. Our home sold in less than three weeks, and for our asking price! We couldn't be more pleased with the two real estate transactions we had with Lisa, and would highly recommend her services to anyone who is thinking of buying or selling their property in Laguna Woods or elsewhere. Thank you, Lisa! :-)

Lisa is completely knowledgeable about Laguna Woods properties- Which was very important when we decided to sell our condo.

Lisa made the entire process move along quickly without missing a thing. Lisa was easy to work with and made us feel valued as clients. She has a knack for simplifying complex issues. Lisa is well connected and well respected within the Leisure World Village community , which makes her a particularly effective agent in what could be an otherwise slow paced bureaucracy. She treats all she comes in contact with as she would like to be treated and that results in a mutual respect and trust that few other agents are able to claim. Thanks Lisa !

I’m not sure I can put into words what an invaluable asset it was to have Lisa as our agent. We interviewed 3 agents. One agent was heading to the airport and asked if we could do a phone interview. Another agent was late and asked her parents to come ahead of her. They owned the agency. They didn’t know we had already been researching comps and said we could get $40,000 more than our research was telling us. Then we met Lisa. Her professional approach and realistic comps for our particular unit was close to our research. And yes, that was important but it was more the ease she had with us and we with her. We knew she would be good to work with. We knew a long distance sale would have been virtually impossible without what Lisa brought to the table...it was the cookies! It seemed that every step we took toward closing was fraught with potential disaster from the slab leak to the alternative heating source. She listened, considered suggestions, provided names of contractors for bids, followed up on inspections and job completions, permits and scheduled the ever changing world of getting the required repairs to a home ready for sale. Did I mention the cookies? My many thanks to Lisa and all the long hours she spent working to get 16-C ready. I just wish we had lived closer to get more cookies!

Lisa is an outstanding professional who nicely took control of the entire process and many details. We had already moved our Mother back to the East Coast and we very much needed someone we could trust from afar. Lisa knows the market intimately and gave expert advice on setting a realistic listing price. She explained the facts of current supply and demand in a way that made sense, compared our unit to the competition, and made excellent recommendations. In a slow market her keen judgment led to several offers, not immediately, but in a reasonable time period, clear proof that she had priced it right. She handled the negotiations beautifully and handled everything smoothly to get to a contract. When we hit a delay on the closing she dealt nicely and openly with me and the Buyer, achieving a happy compromise for both and protecting the sale. As we approached closing she handled countless details, always responding to our family’s needs very promptly, whether it was help with paperwork or arranging for final cleaning. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa to a close friend or family member. She is a total professional and we fee lucky to have been referred to her.

My husband and I recently purchased a home through Lisa Mills. Working with Lisa during the home shopping and escrow process was a very pleasant experience. She was always available to show us homes whenever we requested, and guided us through the escrow and closing process. Lisa was always friendly and professional, making sure that the transaction was as stress free as possible. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family members in the future.

Lisa is by far the beat in the business!
