In November 2014, I had suddenly become a single mother trying to plan my next move. Purchasing my own home had always been a dream, but I wasn't sure that I could afford to buy now that I was also supporting a 3 year old. A good friend recommended I speak with Mark Rayment and see what I could afford and what was on the market that would fit my needs. I have to admit, at first glance I thought I was doomed. There were plenty of homes in my price range, but the location or condition were not what I was looking for. And then it happened... my home was on the market! But the story doesn't end there. The home was taken off the market due to HOA violations that would need to be corrected prior to selling. Mark and I began a month and a half long wait, checking the listing daily to see if any changes had been made. Finally mid January rolled around and because of Mark's knowledge, research and hard work, we were ready to submit an offer within hours of the house being on the market. The house was owned by Fannie Mae, so there was a bit of negotiating in the beginning and of course more patiently waiting. But we got it! Because of Mark's diligence, I purchased my home at my initial offer price, got a brand new AC unit and other misc work done that would have cost me a ton, all on Fannie Mae's dime. I couldn't be happier with my choice to use Mark as an agent and will recommend him to anyone and everyone who is ready to start this journey.
