I had served on a committee with Melesa at our church and she obviously had all the interpersonal skills necessary to meet our needs. We already knew her heart and her thought processing skills, and we had observed her desire to get on with the task at hand. She also had all the real estate skills necessary to meet our needs. We had pre-conceived notions of how well Melesa would perform the tasks to meet our needs, but in all areas, she greatly exceeded our expectations. We knew that Gary Greene would be a great company, but there are others out there--we didn't select Gary Greene, we selected Melesa and were then the beneficiaries of excellence of her Gary Greene relationship. Melesa posted a "coming soon" sign a few days ahead of the "for sale" sign. The home went on the market at 4 pm on a Wednesday and immediately there were 6 showings that afternoon. On Thursday there were another 14 showings and 5 more on Friday and 2 on Saturday. The decision was made to cancel the planned Friday open house and instead, there was a call for all offers to be submitted by 5 pm Friday--49 hours after the home was listed. Melesa at the appointed hour received 14 offers to buy our home--all at a price above our asking price. She helped tremendously in analyzing each offer and with her excellent guidance we chose the one that looked best. In the next several days Melesa worked diligently to keep the sale on track (by nipping every little hiccup in the bud) with ongoing dialogue with the buyers agent--- and the closing occurred without a hitch--thanks to Melesa's diligent pursuits. The sale was closed on April 1st, 15 days after it was listed. Fantastic!! The communication through the process was outstanding and very very necessary. Melesa was effectively reaching out to the buyers' agent and us, seemingly at just the right time. She stayed on top of the whole process from beginning to end. She was totally prompt. Melesa Hudson is an extremely helpful agent. Her knowledge of Houston and its area was vital in helping us find the perfect home because we are new to Houston. She understood our lifestyle and the needs that we had even if we didn't always express them to her as well as we could have. She was patient and so kind. We could call her at any time with questions or go see a house (for the 2nd or 3rd time) at a moment's notice. Even when she knew we would not be impressed with a property, she took the time to help us tour a house that we had found ourselves.
