Nancy's energy, drive, perfectly balanced assertion and vision, were a very unexpected and refreshing surprise. To paint the picture more clearly, prior to working with Nancy, we spent ~2.5 months with another agent, cleaning and staging our home for open houses and appointments, every week - multiple times a week. We did all this while rushing out of our home with 2 children (1 and 4 years old) and another on the way (yes, I am pregnant) and I personally just started a new job. Even with all our efforts, we secured only one solid offer that came in significantly under asking (50K) and other reservations expressed since we were selling with a contingency on finding a new home. By the time, we pulled our listing off the market, we were done. We just needed a break and were determined to turned down all agents who would try to convince us to sign them on to re-list our property. Somehow, Nancy convinced me with her professionalism, persistence, and willingness to work at our convenience. Nancy came over the night before thanksgiving day, walked around our home with permission of course... made very direct evaluations on some of the weaknesses of our property and used her market analysis to determine what would be the most strategic listing price. Within ONE WEEK of our listing going live, we had an offer at asking price...and by the open house weekend, we had another offer above asking. Being overjoyed is an absolute understatement. She communicated effectively throughout the negotiations process and never failed to listen carefully to what we needed and/or wanted. It was clear that she was on OUR TEAM.
