When we first started the home buying process we told Paul the style we liked, where we wanted to be, and the upper limit of our budget. We originally got pre-approval through our credit union, but after frustrations in their level of speed and communication, we opted to use a local company that Paul recommended. The local company's communication was prompt and professional and if that wasn't enough they were able to lock us in at a rate 1.25% lower than our credit union could, which also happens to be the lowest rate we have ever seen in the last 15 years. I highly recommend asking Paul for a reference to this company if you are still looking to get financing figured out. With our financing finally in place we started scheduling tours of the homes that interested us. Paul was able to get us into the homes quickly and though we liked them we didn't love them. Paul mentioned that he might know of a house that would be coming to the market soon and that it would be perfect for us. We were excited about the prospect for two reasons. First Paul really had a good understanding of what we were looking for and he was always keeping his eyes and ears open for anything that would work for us. Second we had been watching the market and had seen homes become contingent the same day they were listed for well over the asking price. We knew that if there was any chance to get a deal on a house in this market it would need to be done before it was listed. Paul was able to reach out to the owners and scheduled a walkthrough for us the following weekend. Not surprising, just as Paul suspected, we loved everything about the house and knew it was the one for us. Paul worked with us to put in a "make me move" offer to the owner the next day, which was accepted. The deal Paul worked out ended up being a win-win for both parties and everything was settled before the house ever went to market. Paul gave us a timeline and walked us through every step along the way. Paul kept us in the loop and nothing came as a surprise through the whole process, everything went smooth along the way and we always felt very well informed on what was going on. Paul went above and beyond what was expected to find us a house that met all of our criteria, in the neighborhood that we wanted, for well within our budget.

I asked a colleague who holds a real estate license and is affiliated with Coldwell Banker in another state for a referral. She entered it into the system and we received a call from Paul the next day. We were very happy working with Paul. He was very professional, responsive and knowledgeable throughout the whole process.
