I had lived in the area for 17 yrs so local area knowledge i had as well as i work in the real estate industry. I knew i would be placing it on market after i was out of the state. Ray listened to my needs and my priorities for our family. When i agreed to meet with him, within 24-36 hrs, he had a plan, comparables and was at my home to discuss. He did his research and came prepared. Ray kept us up to date via text and phone calls and in the right mix. From our first showing on the 21st, we had within 24 hours 2 offers and the following day a 3rd offer all above ask. He pursued a discount from the title company who handled the closing of our home when we purchased it in 2009 while making sure they had an office in Las Vegas where we moved to. My house was sold and in escrow within one week! While he still did open houses and marketed for a back up offer. Ray was very sensitive to the time difference. Also in the middle of closing process i had to fly to Orlando and he coordinated the escrow company to keep me in the loop as well as signing of the docs early. Also taking into consideration that this was during Thanksgiving period and closures of the escrow company and potential delays in overnight mail. Additionally, he was able to work out the timingso i did not pay any extra mortage payment! So i never paid 2 mortgages at the same time! I would use Ray for any future purchases or sales in Hawaii!
