Then a year before we purchased our home, we put our house in California on the market. Scott shadowed us by communicating regularly. We found it to be easy to use email, the internet and the phone as we did most of our work this way. He sent us market information and occasionally an article about the area. Over the two years, Scott sent photos and videos of the houses we were interested in. We really trusted the person "on the other end". At no time, did we ever feel any pressure to move quicker than we could. We don't know if there are many realtors out there who would invest so much time with potential buyers. He made the purchase process, which was long distance, very easy for us. We put our trust in him and he delivered. The best part of this process was getting to know a bit about Scott. He is a real person, with interests and knowledge of this area. Some realtors are interested in just the sale, but Scott took his time with us and ensured we would find a place that makes us happy and fits our life style. This makes him stand out in our eyes. We've had previous experience with buying and selling a couple of homes, and our time with him was extraordinary. We feel we can always drop him an email to find a good reference for a restaurant or other need. So, I guess you could simply say he is now our friend.

Scott made himself available to show us houses when we were up for ski weekends. His knowledge of the Vail valley was crucial to us narrowing down a place for our ski home. We ended up somewhere that we didn't even know existed and it is the perfect fit! Once we were in negotiations, his detail oriented research was a perfect match for us.
