I recently purchased my forever home (and my first home) in Katy, and Vicki Bird helped me made it possible. Although I did not have any previous knowledge or references of Vicki Bird, she was assigned to me by my Mortgage Lender. They couldn't have made a better choice! I feel Vicki was Heaven-sent to me, as she was with me every step of the way in the home-buying process. From the Open Houses, to putting initial offers, to negotiating with the Seller on my behalf, to closing day, Vicki explained the whole process to me in simple tems I could understand, provided me with the resources and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions, and always looked after my best interest in this daunting process. Vicki was not only knowledgeable about the house market, professional, and on top of her game, but most importantly, Vicki was very personable, accomodating to my crazy work schedule, ALWAYS available to me, and maintained timely and open communications at all times. Vicki was a vital piece in my home buying journey, I couldn't have asked for a better Real Estate Agent. Thank you Vicki! I'm forever grateful
Vicki was really helpful in this process. She knows what she is doing for sure. I received her unbiased assistance, which is all I could ask for. But on top of that, she was friendly, patient, attentive. Thanks Vicki..!
Vicki is an awesome realtor in all regards. She understood our needs and helped us find the perfect home in regards to location and budget.
it was my 2nd time I use the services of Vicki Bird, as the last time it was great working with here, and the outcome was good.
I saw the sign across the street and called. I think it was a Sat. afternoon, so I expected to leave a message. But NO!! Vicki answered on the second ring, and we talked for probably a good 15 mins. I thought from the very get-go that, "This woman is a go-getter," and that turned out to be the case, indeed!! In fact that was an understatement!! She and her husband were staging the house the very next day, and she invited me to come and meet her in person. We all talked and laughed and found out we all had German heritage. I felt instantly at ease with ZERO PRESSURE to sign on w/her. BUT...she had a binder for me w/LOTS of information about G.G. Real Estate and about her recent sales and "job performance," I guess you'd call it. I walked out of there about AN HOUR, and I felt like I'd made TWO NEW FRIENDS!! And that was true, too :) Print advertising was only the G.G. binder, but it was professional and very helpful. I realized immediately that Vicki Bird is "on her game"!! Sales result was great -- had an offer just three days after Vicki's realtor-only posting, which she did for me on that Thur. instead of the normal Fri. posting, because it was St. Patrick's Day and my father, may he RIP, was a big party guy and loved that holiday!! Had an offer just three days later, and Vicki called me immediately, noon on a Sunday, and we talked about whether or not to accept -- I did; house sold to person who made that offer!! Yard sign is nice; great smile, pretty woman :) Re: escrow -- I was seller. But during price negotiations, prospective buyer wanted out of the contract. Vicki advised me that I did have the option to let her out of the contract and keep her escrow money; also advised that I could take legal action against her for the cancellation. I didn't have a clue what to do, but Vicki advised me, and I had full trust she was steering me in the right direction. That direction was to counter w/a higher price, and the buyer agreed. I told her I didn't want to keep the person's money, #1, and #2, I certainly didn't want to sue her! I was very happy w/Vicki's advice. Vicki was super helpful w/the inspections. I'd had a utility disconnection, and she drove over to the property to ensure reconnection for the inspection. She also drove over another time to ensure another utility was on (so embarrassing for me, but she just laughed!) because I had a repairman coming! She really went the extra mile for me so many times throughout the process. Negotiations were minimal; Vicki advised me, gave me options, and l made the decisions; no regrets! Closing -- I embarrassed her, I'm sure, w/my litany of questions, but Vicki Bird was understanding and helpful. She'd initially told me she wouldn't be able to attend, but then surprised me by being there, which made me feel MUCH better about the process. Vicki would get a 15 from me, in all areas, on a scale of 1-10!! Not one single complaint. I felt well represented from the get-go :) Vicki is WONDERFUL!! I've made a friend of a trusted realtor, which is a very good thing! She's currently helping me find a rental home, and I certainly plan to have her help me find my next house, hopefully in one year :) *****I forgot to mention that she took time to come over and help me breakdown boxes one afternoon!! AND after our initial meeting, I kept putting off the sale because I wasn't organize and was very sick for a few months. She never once called to "bug me," as i'm certain a lot of realtors would do! Vicki Bird is the consummate professional!!
We really enjoyed working with Vicki and now consider her a family friend. I had reached out to her before we were ready to actually make a purchase and gave her an idea of what we would be looking for. She kept in touch with us about how the market was going and what she had found. Once we were ready to buy, we had everything lined up and ready to go. She found properties that fit our needs and presented a lot of different options. We would happily recommend Vicki to any of our friends and family looking to purchase a home in the Houston area.
Very Friendly, patient and accommodating for changes. She strive to meet or exceed expectation. Thanks for the support
