All I can say is what a fantastic experience. Vince treated us like family and he was 100% available when we needed him. We were high maintenance as new home buyers and he never made us feel like we were bothering him. Vince listened to our every need and he took the time to explain certain things that we didn't understand. He never made us feel rushed or silly for asking a question that most people may already knew. I could not have asked for a better realtor. He would move as fast or as slow as we wanted. My experience with Vince Walk was great. To start, I was a first time home buyer and had tons of questions and concerns. He answered all of my questions and explained everything in layman's terms. From the first conversation I had with Vince Walk, I knew he was going to be my realtor. As a first-time home buyer on my own, I was anxious to start the process as I didn't know much about it, and I was unsure if I even wanted to work with a realtor (from a negative past experience.) I just happened to speak to Vince by calling on a property I drove by - that particular house wasn't the one for me - but as we spoke for about 20 minutes on the home-buying process and what I was looking for, I felt a huge sense of ease and trust with him. He didn't rush our conversation and he answered all questions I had, even the "dumb" ones of a first-time buyer! I was on a pretty tight deadline to find a house before my current lease was up, and he assured me that we had plenty of time to find the one for me. He was very knowledgeable in the area I was looking (particularly Shawnee Mission schools and the Nall Hills neighborhood) and was happy to look into any property I found on other websites or driving around. He always offered his honest opinion on properties and I really felt like I had a true teammate helping me and caring about finding something I'd love. I never once felt like he was trying to make the most money or put his professional needs above my client needs - something I had unfortunately experienced from another realtor in the past. My budget for my new home wasn't huge for the area I wanted to be in, so there weren't a great amount of properties in my price range but he never made me feel discouraged or told me to look in a different area - he said just to be patient and that I'd find one. Through the entire process - finding properties, scheduling showings, looking more than once at a few properties, diving into finding one, negotiating an offer and all of the things that go with it - Vince was supportive, patient and genuinely had my best interest at heart. He never pressured me to hurry or to go out of my comfort zone (in terms of price), and he was quick to answer my (long list of) questions anytime I text, called or emailed him. He was basically holding my hand throughout the process - from finding "the one" to sitting with me at the inspection, celebrating at the closing with me and even telling me when to call the utility companies when I was close to moving in. He was comforting, trustworthy and an all-around kind-hearted person to work with, especially during such a stressful process. I recommend Vince to anyone who asks me about a realtor - I'm in a house I absolutely love, at a monthly payment I'm totally comfortable in, and so thankful for such a positive and supportive experience with him.
