We knew we had a winner when Charley Wasson showed up on time for our first appointment and he came well prepared - we could tell he had done his homework. We had not met Charley before but knew that he came highly recommended. We were nervous - we knew the current real estate market was volatile and uncertain and we had read the negative news stories about declining home values. Charley presented his approach to selling our home. He analyzed comps from two perspectives (within our small community) and then compared them to similar home sales close by our area. He anticipated our questions; he gave us options for our concerns. He suggested a sales price - we were skeptical but decided to let him 'do his job. Later, the appraisal actually came in $5k higher so his suggested sales price was on target. Throughout our home sale process, we saw Charley's work ethic. He is honest, and straightforward in communications, and has a positive outlook, but didn't hesitate to tell us when we were out of line in our thinking. We buy/sell homes about every three to five years so we felt reasonably knowledgeable about the process, but we weren't prepared for how easy the process was with Charley. Gotta say it again - Charley is the best realtor we have ever had. We appreciate all the work that Charley and Alisa did on our behalf - we appreciate them!
