I approached Ciaran when I thought i was ready to sell my house. I was under a deadline and really didn't want to settle on a price below my benchmark. He recommended a few things (finishing my downstairs bathroom and replace old ceiling tiles) i should do before he could sell my house for a price i would be happy with and meet my deadline. I appreciated the straightforward honesty as I don't want to waste my time expecting a price for a house that I probably won't get. His knowledge of the market meant his recommendations greatly helped me in the quickness of my sale and the return that I received. I am not the easiest client to deal with as I am not the most patient person. As an example, i was ready to lower the asking price of my house when we had interest but no offers but Ciaran suggested keeping it at the same price for another week and i ended up getting an offer that week at a price that would not have been attainable had we lowered the price. The house was by no means an easy sell but Ciaran made sure we were aware of his plan from the beginning, to have an online virtual tour which really seemed to give our house a lot of interest. During the selling process, several issues with our house came up eg: the humidifier sprung a leak before the home inspection and I was freaking out but Ciaran calmy explained what I had to do and ensured the potential buyers were well aware of the situation. His calm demeanor and "been there before" attitude, coupled with his patience in answering any questions I had (there were a lot) really made me feel comfortable working with him. Bottom line is Ciaran is knowledgable about his working environment, has a clear plan in how to proceed to get his client the results they are after. He is also honest enough to to tell his client the hard truth if necessary, and that is a quality that is difficult to find and in sales, is probably the most important quality to me.
