Irene: In my first few months, I was honestly terrified. I immersed myself in classes, seminars, and training because I wanted to be fully prepared before helping anyone. I felt that I didn’t yet know enough to “hit the pavement,” so I focused on learning every aspect of the business before diving in. Looking back, that period built the foundation for the agent I’ve become today — detailed, ethical, and dedicated to continuous growth.
Irene: My coach, Chuck Kampmann, kept encouraging me to stop overthinking and take action. He said, “Just get the appointment — we’ll help you with the rest.” So, I made my first five phone calls, got my first listing appointment, got cussed out… and three and a half hours later, got the listing! Chuck told me afterward, “Do you know what you just did? You beat out the #1 listing agent in the tri-county area.” I didn’t even realize who he was referring to at the time, but that moment gave me the confidence I needed to believe in myself and trust the process.
Irene: It taught me to always stay honest, humble, and kind — and above all, to truly listen. When you listen with sincerity, you understand what clients genuinely need and can guide them toward what’s best for them, not just what’s easiest or fastest. That experience became the foundation of how I serve every client today.
Irene: Without question, it’s the people. Over the years, so many clients have become like family. Being a part of their milestones — whether buying their first home, selling after a loss, or starting fresh — is deeply personal to me. Every closing is more than a transaction; it’s a journey of trust, care, and lasting connection.
I love being “Your One Stop Shop Realtor,” because I’m not a one-and-done agent. My goal is to be your Realtor for life — the one you know will always go the extra mile, no matter where life takes you, which is why 95% of my business is repeat and referrals.
Irene: Stay humble, be kind, and always give 100%. When you lead with integrity and compassion, success follows naturally. Doing what you love and serving others makes all the effort worthwhile - and that’s what turns a career into a calling.
Irene: Yes, helping seniors is very close to my heart. Many are navigating overwhelming life transitions — selling lifelong homes, downsizing, or managing estates after loss. I take time to walk them through every detail, often connecting them with trusted professionals for repairs, cleaning, or legal guidance.
My goal is to make them feel supported and never alone in the process. It’s not just real estate; it’s about dignity, patience, and compassion.
Irene: One of my most rewarding sales involved a disabled veteran and his disabled wife. They dreamed of a peaceful home near the water where she could garden again. The journey was challenging, but when we closed, he said through tears, “You didn’t just find us a house — you gave us hope.” That moment reminded me why I do what I do. Every act of service matters.
Irene: I’m grateful beyond words — to God for guiding my steps, to my clients for their trust, and to my peers for their encouragement. I don’t measure success by awards or numbers, but by how many lives I’ve been able to touch along the way.
